On every plan

The same data shape from the free key up

  • Head to head, lines and totals
  • Halves, quarters and innings
  • Player and team props
  • Alternate lines
  • Decimal price and implied probability on every quote
  • Event status and graded results

How usage is counted

Requests and objects, in plain terms

Request
Any call you make, whatever comes back. Each plan has a per-minute ceiling: 10 on Developer, 50 on Rookie, 300 on Pro and 600 on Platform.
Object
One top-level item in a response. Ask for the AFL and get nine games back, and that is nine objects. Everything inside a game, every market and every bookmaker, comes with it at no extra count.
Reset
Developer and Rookie allowances start again at the beginning of each calendar month, UTC. Pro and Platform have no monthly object cap.
Over the limit
Go past your per-minute ceiling and you get a 429 with a retry-after header in seconds. A rejected call is never billed.

Your keys, usage and billing are on your SockOdds account page, so you can see how much of the month's allowance is left.

How many objects will you use?

Describe how you will poll. We assume one request per league each time.

Choosing

Which plan fits what you are building

Developer

You are still finding out

You want to see real responses, wire up a prototype, or your tool only ever needs the AFL, NRL, NFL or MLB from Sportsbet, TAB and Ladbrokes.

Rookie

One product, a sensible poll

You need the other leagues, or books such as bet365, Neds, PointsBet, Unibet, Betfair and Dabble, and you can live inside 100,000 objects a month.

Pro

You need every book

Arbitrage and +EV work lives in the smaller books, so this is where those tools usually land. No object cap, plus the recorded price history and WebSocket snapshots.

Platform

The feed is your product

You mirror everything all day, run several environments, or want an agreed volume price and a direct support channel.

Billing questions

Money, limits and cancelling

Are the prices in Australian dollars?

No, every plan is priced in US dollars and charged in US dollars; your bank handles the conversion. Taxes may apply depending on where you are.

Is there a discount for paying yearly?

Yes. Annual billing takes 20% off Rookie and Pro. Platform volume pricing is agreed with each customer.

Does a bigger response cost more?

No. A game carrying hundreds of markets from dozens of books is still one object. To keep responses quick rather than cheap, filter by markets and bookmakers.

What happens when I hit a limit?

Past the per-minute ceiling you get a 429 and a Retry-After header; wait that many seconds and carry on. The rejected call is not billed. Running out of monthly objects on Developer or Rookie means waiting for the UTC month to turn or upgrading.

How do I upgrade, downgrade or cancel?

Open the account page on sockodds.com with your paid key. It takes you to the Stripe billing portal, where invoices, card details and cancelling live. For anything else about your plan, email [email protected] with your keyID.

Why does checkout happen on sockodds.com?

Because Fast Odds API is SockOdds. There is one account, one key and one bill, run by ESK Solutions Pty Ltd, wherever you first found us.
